If you read our last post, you are aware that we are having some issues with our dinghy. Specifically, we have not been able to get it up on a plane. Actually, I am able to get it up when I am alone, but we have difficulty when Mary is aboard. We have decided that the solution would be to provide more power and have obtained a much stronger engine. I am happy to report that multiple test runs with the new engine reveal that the dinghy now performs as expected both single and double handed. Unfortunately, now that we have reliable performance under various conditions, Mary has decided the the dinghy is too small and she is no longer satisfied. More updates to follow…

Thanks Jeff.
You have been waiting years and years to write that post!! I’m with Ann….keep my BFF satisfied and give her whatever she asks for!!!
Jeff, I will be very interested in your tender selection as I have realized my Zodiac Zoom is not provisioned with lift points for my new davits.
Hi Al. A dinghy shop can add lift points wherever you need them. I had Dinghy Concepts at JBM add 3 pick up on ours.
Jeff & Mary, do you want us to ship you a new dingy from the West Marine store in Key West? Only a half mile from our condo. Tom, B&L
Thanks Tom, but the whole shipping / importing thing is too much hassle here. We will just wait until we get somewhere easier. Good to hear from you!
There are ways to get a bigger dinghys yo make sure my sister is satisfied!
How many double meanings can you put in one post??
Have fun handling your new johnson
A new dinghy on its way, then. Take care and stay safe.
Not sure of all of the facts but as an very old, very wise aunt I suggest you tread very, very carefully my Dear Nephew. You are on dangerous ground with the women you love….:)
This our favorite post so far. Hopefully your dinghy keeps performing and Mary realizes its not always the size that counts!
