Sandy, Day 2 (or is it 3?)

Pretty quiet day today. Mary took a little video around the boat. We both read and surfed on our computers. I spent some time adjusting the dock lines in anticipation of a wind shift this evening. It rained all day and has continued to be very windy.

Stephen Clark, a good friend and former neighbor, called me via Skype this morning for an interview with Channel 7 news. Thanks to Stephen for telling our story.

I told Stephen I was scared to do a TV interview, then I realized I’m on a boat in a hurricane. Glad you got to see it.

You interview like an old pro!! So glad to hear you are both safe and sound. Watching news this morning and it looks like NYC and Jersey were hit hard. My sister says it’s snowing in Columbus. Wild storm!

    Hey Jeff and Mary,
Watched the Video live, Great Job!! Lookin at rain mixed with sleet here this am, only blowing to 35. Amazing how large this storm is.

Not sure what happened to the audio on my video – sorry we’ll work on it in the morning. Mostly just wind in any case…
