We lost a good friend a few days ago. It’s been hard to wrap our minds around the loss being so far away. Among many wonderful memories with Jeff are the times he and Marcy sailed with us. They sailed in Lake St. Clair with us and visited while we were in Mackinaw City where we had an amazing sail around Mackinaw island and under the bridge. Jeff coined the term “circumMACinate” which we have laughed about often since.
We have Nate to thank for bringing Jeff into our lives and we are thankful to have had them both. Through Walled Lake Central Color Guard and Marching Band we got to know Jeff and his family well. Out thoughts are with them at this time.
We had planned a trip to Detroit this week and now I will head back a few days sooner to attend the funeral. Jeff will remain here in Florida and get Echo situated after the haul out before heading to Detroit later in the week.
