We did get over to the fuel dock just when they opened. Finished our business by 8:30 and got on the way.
We had a nice wind as we left the marina and we were able to sail down the lake to the mouth of the river. The wind came around on our nose, so we started up the engine and motored the rest of the day.
This is the Dossin Great Lakes Maritime Museum on Belle Isle. A great place to visit.

Where river meets Lake Erie
We motored down to Lake Erie then about 15 miles south to Toledo Beach Marina. Our friends Jim and Tennie stopped by for dinner to finish up an excellent first day.
