We first cleared into Grenada at the end of June, hard to believe it’s now already December and we’re still here. Granted it was our plan to wait out hurricane season but still, it’s a long time for Echo to spend in one spot.
And now it’s time to move on…
While in Grenada we did haul Echo and leave the boat ” on the hard” for 2 1/2 months while we traveled to Washington State. Grenada has been wonderful and Washington was great too. Clearly we’ve been remiss in keeping up to date with our blog posts so as we head off on our 400 mile journey to Bonaire we each intend to write one post on our adventures over the past few months. (Hopefully by making this statement we will finally follow through.)
This season we plan to explore parts of the Western Caribbean and Bonaire begins the adventure.
We have cleared out of Grenada and leave Carriacou bound for Bonaire. It should take just about 3 days and be mostly a downwind sail. You can follow our tracks at “Echo Location”
Bonaire is a top destination for diving and we hope to participate. We dove in Carricaou yesterday to get started, it was beautiful!
Clearly we have to work on our fish identification skills. Thanks for following along!
