This morning Sandy is almost due east from us by a few hundred miles. We started feeling the stronger winds about 9:00 last night but we are protected from their direct strength by the buildings to our north. The boat is rocking around a bit and there is a constant howling from the wind along with the ever present rain but, we both slept well. The next high tide is this morning about 9:30, it’s expected to be the highest yet – a foot or more higher than the last.
We went out for a walk yesterday but spend most of our time just relaxing.
