All’s Well in George Town

Sorry no posts for awhile, we have not had any WiFi available. This post is text only because I am sending over the SSB radio. Brian and Katie arrived Tuesday as per plan and we met them in “downtown” George Town. The flight was uneventful and it only took around 11 hours from Seattle to George Town. Pretty amazing. The weather has been sunny, but very windy. Because of this we have not put in many miles and stayed within the shelter of Elizabeth Harbor. The harbor is a 10 mile long area between Great Exuma to the west and a string of islands to the east. We are currently in our 3rd anchorage and there is a ton of stuff to see and do right here in the area. We went diving today and it was a blast! That’s all for now. All our best to all of you. Jeff, Mary, Brian, and Katie

Jeff- When you get to Anguilla, go to “On Da Rocks” Might be a bit of a ride to get there as it’s a ways from the harbor, but make the trip on a Sunday. $5 Spiny Lobsters in a delicious lemon caper sauce and fantastic rum punch. If you can get Tim (owner) to make the punch, even better. Nice snorkeling on a reef by Gwen’s Reggae Bar and Grill, also.
